About Polly
So you're looking for a Frenchie? A little older and more dignified? This lovely lady may just be perfect then.....
Polly is 7yrs old and she's a bundle of personality, fun and companionship. She adores her humans (as Frenchies do) and is happiest when her humans are close by. She's a super friendly girl with both adults and older children and quite gentle and placid. She loves to go for walks, and very curious about everything around her. Polly can be a little cheeky when left alone and may have a nibble on your sunglasses if they are within reach!
Polly is toilet trained inside and currently sleeping indoors in her foster home. She is absolutely adored by her foster family and has a beautiful nature. She loves to chase balls and plays happily with the toys she’s provided.
Polly is currently living with another Frenchie and she gets along great with her. She has also been introduced to other dogs when out walking and is quiet and calm at home.
Adult French Bulldogs are quite dignified and can be champion couch potatoes, but they also love to clown around and go for walks in cool weather. They do not cope well in the heat, so you need to protect them from heatstroke and offer them an air-conditioned home in the warm weather.
Polly is a very quiet girl (a wonderful trait of the Breed) and will bark to announce visitors, but otherwise quiet.
Snorting, snuffling, and flatulence go with the territory of short-faced breeds, so be warned :)
Polly has had her nares and soft palate corrected while in for Desexing, as well as spinal X-rays, which indicated she has 2 Hemivertebrae. This has not caused any issues up to this point, so as long as the use of stairs is minimised, and constant jumping is avoided, we don’t see this causing any issues for the future.
One of Polly’s eyes has some old scar tissue, but this does not affect her sight. She has also fed a number of litters previously, so some regular light exercise would be beneficial for her to strengthen those tummy muscles 😉
Polly is located in Toukley, on the Central Coast NSW and available for adoption now. Please answer the questions listed below when enquiring.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
