Hiiiya, it's Dixie! I am an active girl, looking for an experienced household to call my forever one. I am a small, friendly and sociable girl but keep your eyes and ears peeled because there's a lot you need to know about me! I will need a home that can provide me with plenty of enrichment, I quite like my breakfast in something called a kong or wobbler, as it keeps my mind and body busy! I will also need daily physical stimulation, I would quite enjoy bush walks as I am very adventurous!
I will also benefit from being involved in breed specific activities so that I have a healthy outlet to chase. I will need owners who can actively teach and reinforce calm behaviours as I can get a lil over excitable - mat training + crate training would be beneficial for this, as well as to help me work on my independence. I am also looking for a household that are home more often then not to begin with as I can be a little stressy when left alone, but it would be benefical to start off with short periods being left alone to help me get used to being by myself and increase this duration gradually. Part-time or casual workers only please.
My future home would need to be a young active, dog savvy family with no kids (14 + only) or elder persons as I can't contain my excitement at times and I can be very jumpy. I might be small but I am mighty so you will need to be able to keep up with me! I may be able to live with another calm and tolerant dog, of the opposite sex pending a meet.
