About Tank
Thank you for coming to view my profile, it wont let you down I promise!
My name is Tank and I'm a 3 year old staffy who is now looking for my new home.
A family with an active lifestyle is what will suit me the most. Someone who is up for being outdoors, running around, or just simply going on long walks in the bush, along the river, or even along the beach.
I would love to be able to join my new family out fishing, camping, or even on the boat. I just want to be wherever you are.
I would need someone that is home most of the time and would enjoy having me indoors with them, or when I'm outside there would need to be a super secure fence that I cant jump over or get out from, as I do like to go for a wonder if no one is around.... Cheeky is my middle name after all...
The staff have often said that I'm a super cuddly, loving dog that will sit up on the couch with you and watch telly, or happily sleep under the covers in bed on a cold wet day.
I do get on well with other dogs and would be okay living with another dog that isn't in my face and will give me the space I enjoy.
NO cats or other small animals please.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
