About Tiger
Hello there, my name is Tiger! I'm a typical Arctic Breed who isn't afraid to sing the song of my people - all day long if I feel like it. I'm a bit unsure and anxious at the moment, and not a lot is known about my history - so my new home will need to be prepared to help me adjust. As you might be able to tell, I've had a bit of a haircut... it wasn't my choice, but it was my only option given the condition my coat was in when I came to the RSPCA. But when my coat grows back, I will need regular washing and brushing to keep me all neat and tidy. Like most dogs in my breed, I'm not a fan of handling and prefer to just do my own thing - but I do like food! My RSPCA friends have found I know sit and drop, and that I will respond to my name when I feel like it. I can be very strong on the lead, so my new home will need to be able to hang on and stay in control. I may be okay living with a friendly, female doggo who is like me, an Arctic Breed! We'll need some time to get to know each other, and of course we'll have to see how we get on first. Human wise I'm probably best in a home that has had Arctic dogs before, and if there are young humans, it would be best that they are dog savvy and are secondary school aged. I am not suited to a home with first time dog owners, and I cannot go to a home with small animals like cats, rabbits or chickens. My new home MUST have a husky proof yard for me, and be ready to manage and help me find my feet in my new home. If you think there's a spot in your home for this fluffy-ball-to-be, please submit an application.
