About Troy
Hi my name is Troy. I'm an 8 year old Black and Tan Kelpie mix and I'm a really affectionate boy!
Since being in care, I've really come out of my shell and greet my humans with an enthusiastic tail wag.
I love playing with my doggie foster brothers and I am very social with them. I'm also great with new dogs and people that we encounter on our walks.
My foster mum says I am fantastic with the resident cat, and we are both very relaxed around each other.
I haven't spent much time with little kids, but I might be suitable with older children who can be patient and gentle with me. I have only recently discovered the new world of being indoors, and chilling out on my bed, and I just love hanging out with my family and relaxing!
I am crate trained and toilet trained and sleep beautifully through the night. I haven't had much training, but I am very smart and as my confidence builds I am becoming a lot more responsive. I walk beautifully on a loose lead, but my recall needs some dedicated practice.
I am really building confidence but loud noises and sudden movements like throwing or kicking a ball still scare me.
I'm looking for a patient, loving family with working dog experience, who have a large yard or acreage with secure fencing. I LOVE being part of a pack and would prefer a home with doggy siblings.
If this sounds like you then complete the adoption form now! I can't wait to meet you, Troy

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
