About Yoda
Hi everyone I am Yoda, I am a 7 month old staffy mix. I was found at a country pound by these amazing people and they couldn't leave my cute and happy face behind.
I am now in care with two resident doggies and I have also met and played nicely with another carers resident ferret.
I am highly food motivated, dog friendly, kid friendly (although remember, I'm still young I jump up on people so I’m working really hard to not jump up on people when approaching them),crate trained, I can sit, focus, lay down on command, wait for my food and I love and give the best snuggles.
Although I have really good manners, I will need someone who is dedicated to continue training and socialisation to keep me at my best. My ideal family would consist of two legged and four legged members, a big backyard with lots of play time, walks, adventures and lots and lots of toys and other things to keep me occupied so I don’t become destructive! I will need a secure yard with high fences, but my long legs makes me a very good looking boy. Everyone comments on how handsome I am they say I’m a real head turner. I am very loyal and will want to spend time with family, so someone home for part of the day
would suit me best.
Love Yoda.
Medical notes
Sadly Yoda also came with an injury, he had a severe break in his leg which required both screws and wiring to repair. Immediately after his operation he required constant crating to allow his leg to heal. His beautiful carers have done such a fantastic job with his after care and he has now progressed to gentle exercise such
as swimming or a short gentle walk.
Pups like Yoda rely heavily on pounds and rescues being able to work together to get them the care they need and to date his surgeries and recovery has cost in excess of $2500.
Whilst Yoda still has a lot of healing to do, he wanted to introduce himself and to thank all our followers for the
continued support. He is now thriving in care thanks to his beautiful loving foster family and our always supportive vets.
