About Elias
Hi humans, my name is Elias and I am a very energetic little puppy whom loves to smother my foster carers with kisses and love!
I am social when it comes to people and other dogs that are calm and well socialised themselves as I can become a little timid and unsure in new situations. I currently live with my careers two dogs and my sister and am getting used to toys, however I am more interested in pats and smooches with the humans.
I am currently being crate trained, so I spend my day time out in the back yard whilst the humans do their daily human routines and of an evening I enjoy coming for a snuggle on the lounge before proceeding to my crate. I am doing well at only toileting during the day and outside, as I am only having the occasional wee accident over night.
I am slowly getting used to a leash as I practice in the back yard untill my second vaccination. I would prefer to play and pull on my leash rather then use it for it’s actual use. This is more due to my age and lack of exposure to the leash however, I’m training really hard to get better so I can enjoy walkies with my new family in the future.
I am being exposed to cats of all ages as we have lots of resident cats here at my foster home, I like to mainly walk close behind them as I sniff their bottoms. The cats don’t seem phased by me neither so I think if there was a cat at my new home, it would have to be dog friendly otherwise I may get to excited and chase it.
I am a fast learner as I am beginning to learn the sit command, however I am a long way away from sitting and waiting for my dinner. I will thrive with at least some basic training and I promise I’ll continue to work hard on my training here at my foster parents.
If you have an Elias shaped hole in your heart, please message the humans as I am supper keen to meet you!
Medical notes
My desexing date is the 20th June, which means I will be ready to go to my new home around the 27th-30th of June.
