Kody is handling learning many new things extremely well and his confidence is growing every day. He has sharp Kelpie intelligence and a survivor’s courageous heart. I think he will learn and do almost anything, so long as you tell him he is a good boy.

He is learning to walk on lead well and picking up commands quickly, even before any formal training. His eyes will constantly seek yours for approval and he would most prefer never to let you out of his sight.

He loves cuddle time but will relax on his own if you’re settled somewhere too. He has a crate he would probably be happier to use if his carer was more familiar with the crate training method!

Kody gets on well with his slightly jealous foster sister, but would be equally happy as an only dog. He has not picked up her habit of barking, though he will alert if anyone enters the property.

His sweet and eager nature will certainly test this first-time carer and will endear him to whoever is lucky enough to offer him a more permanent home.

Kody is $300 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, heartworm checked and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
