Hi, my name is Mario. I’m a chunky pup looking for my new best mate. If you are looking for a best mate who’s built like a body builder but has short stumpy legs, then I might be the guy for you!

I’d make a great dog for a single, couple or a family who will love me forever. I’m a very social boy and I love everyone. I love being the centre of my human’s attention. I’m happy being with my humans or my foster doggy sisters, or even happy to sit and sun myself alone outside.

I love being taken for a walk and want a person who enjoys taking me for a walk or for outings with them. I just love going to the local coffee shop with my foster dad and meeting new people.

I really love kids but would suit older kids as I’m a bit of a tank and could knock little ones over. I currently live with a 10-year-old and 13-year-old. I especially like it when they play with me. I love running around with my doggy foster sisters. I currently live with a 6-year-old Lab x and a 1-year-old whippet cross. I would be better suited to have a doggy companion who is older and bigger than me as I’m strong and love a bit of rough play.

At night, I’m a very good boy and sleep all night in my crate without a peep. I have been learning commands to sit, stay and wait, and I will need a family who can continue with my training. I’m learning to walk on a loose lead but a get a bit excited to smell everything so will need more lead training.

If you want a constant shadow, I’m your guy - I just love people and snuggles. I love sitting with my foster mum in her office as she works from home. I’d be happy as an only dog if someone is home often or I’d like a another friendly dog to play with.
