About Buster
Hi my name's Buster, do you like to be smothered in love? Then I’m your guy!
Buster is the sweetest boy who loves his humans and likes to be near them happily sitting with you while you work. He will cuddle up right beside you or even on top of you if he can manage it. Being young he has a lot of energy, so a family dedicated to regular walks and some games for mental stimulation would be perfect. Buster loves toys and will appreciate being spoiled. Once he has had his exercise he’s right back to napping peacefully for hours on end.
Buster likes to check new people out just to make sure they are up to his human’s standard so slow introductions are best. This will improve once Buster has had time to settle in his new home and feels safe.
Buster is toilet trained and will go straight to the loo after a meal and tell you when he needs to go out.
Buster finds the outside world pretty exciting and has a tendency to pull on the lead to see and smell all the exciting new things but he has shown progress when in foster care with treat incentives to get his focus back. He is improving day by day. Buster loves car rides, poking his head out the window watching the world go by, and eventually will just lay down for a nap.
During his time in foster care, Buster has shown he is good on his own, but his preference is to be with his humans. A home where he has company more often than not would be heaven.
Buster needs to learn some more manners with other dogs. He can come on a bit strong and boisterous, so needs confident humans to help him learn how to socialise politely. This has also improved while he has been in foster care. He hasn’t shown any signs of aggression towards other dogs while in foster care, just desperately wants to be their friend. A home where he is the only pet is required.
Buster has so much potential for the right family. With dedicated love and training and him feeling safe in his new home he will be the perfect dog and shower you with all the love in the world.
Buster is not suitable to live with cats
