About Maggie
Every superhero has an alter ego and while Maggie may appear to be 'just a puppy', don't be fooled! Underneath that dainty pink sweater is a tiny Pocket Rocket Action Hero whose superpower is Maximum Energy! So, if you're looking to recruit the most badass sick kick to your team of Avengers, Maggie is absolutely your girl!
Whatever your mission - whether its hiking, going for long runs, working out on your farm, or running in slow motion to save the day - Maggie will never let you down! With the intelligence of Iron Man, the speed of the Flash and boasting a strength far superior to the Hulk (with the softer side of Bruce Banner of course) our Maggie would be perfect for anyone who likes their life packed full of action!
Maggie LOVES to train and run, play sports, and herd her canine friends like a typical working pup. She's wickedly smart, insanely loyal and has energy to BURN - but she also loves a good snuggle in your lap after a big day out saving the city!
Her ideal Superhero Leader would be someone who wants a pup capable of lots of love and affection, but who can also crash-tackle her opponents with ease. She's looking for a home with lots of space outside for her to run around in and also carry out her action-packed training montages! If you have another dog on your squad, Maggie will thrive! She's looking for the Hawkeye to her Black Widow - IE a loyal doggie best friend who can help her learn how to dog.
So, if you're looking for a hero who will never run out of steam, then Maggie, The Pocket Rocket Action Hero is here to save the day!
Maggie's adoption fee includes all of her medical work (she has been desexed, had her first vaccination, microchipped, flea and worm treated), a bag of premium puppy food and a FREE spot in our 5-week puppy school course at the SCAR shelter.
**Application Process**
When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption centre in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you.
