About Talon
Introducing the ladies man, Talon. Possibly the biggest mothers boy that has ever come into care. 2 1/2 yr old male Boxer x bull terrior (medium size).
Talon has come from an abusive background but has just come such a long way with love and patience. Talon was very scared of the world at first but he now loves a good adventure!
His favorite thing is to take quiet walks heals next to a pushbike for a good run, camping, enjoys a good swim at the beach, loves kids and dogs.
Talon is a smart boy, he learns very fast and his all trained up (stop, sit, stay, slow, no, come, heal, bed, create, and is starting to learn hand signals).
House and kennel trained, doesn't dig or chew, good with farm and domestic animals too.
He had abit of a struggle for his first 2yrs of life with skin issues and very underweight but with a good diet, salt water, oatmeal shampoo baths, exercise, routine, vet work and slow introductions to new people, he has really come out of his shell now.
He is extremely loyal, obedient and needs a home where someone is home more often than not OR coming home every night at least.
Talon is great with FRIENDLY dogs an would make a good buddy if you have a lonely FRIENDLY dog at home, an kids above 7 as he is abit of a clutts.
He has the boxer physique and feels the cold very easily so will need to be brought inside every night, and requires daily cuddles in a loving home who is understanding of Talons needs.
Weary at first he is very slow to come around,,, but once you show him some love, he will respond with loyalty and respect.
