About Maggie
Introducing Maggie!
Maggie is an approximately 1 year old Wolfhound x who came in as an unidentified stray. Unfortunately, no one came looking for her and as she wasn’t microchipped we couldn’t find her owners. She is now patiently waiting for her new forever family to come and take her home.
Maggie is a gentle giant who loves nothing more than to spend time with her humans. She smiles when she sees you and bounces around in circles with excitement.
Maggie isn’t too keen on other dogs though, so it will be best for her to go to a house with no other dogs. A house where she is the only animal and she can soak up all the love and affection! She didn’t seem to mind cats, but as we only let them interact through a barrier we can’t be certain what she would be like if she were come face to face with them. She was quite interested in our rooster though, so a home with no smaller animals would be better suited for her.
Even though she is quite large, she is pretty easy to walk and doesn’t pull too hard. However, when she gets excited she might have a burst of energy and try to go a little faster, but is easy to distract and regain her focus.
If Maggie sounds like the perfect companion for you, email us at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Maggie’s adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Maggie is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
Maggie is located in East Maitland.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the foster carers home or at a convenient location.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
