About Pumba
Could Pumba be the new family member that you have been looking for?
Pumba is an affectionate and loving pup who is looking for a new family to call his own. He loves to play, eat, cuddle, sleep and then repeat on loop!!
He is highly energetic in play and loves to run around and chase toys whenever he can. Pumba loves to follow you throughout the house and is very excited to be close to you. When he is all tired out, he will excitedly jump into bed and burrow in, or cuddle into your side for snuggles.
Pumba is likely to be a medium sized adult dog. He loves to explore the yard and he LOVES being around his humans, especially when it is playtime and/or cuddle time!! He gets along with other friendly and playful dogs who can tolerate his puppy playfulness and would be ok to be rehomed with a dog-savvy cat.
His new ideal home will be one where his new family will be committed to training and socialising him (puppy school and ongoing obedience training will be essential) and one with LOTS of love and cuddles to give!!!
Pumba's adoption fee includes all of his medical work (he has been desexed, had his first vaccination, microchipped, flea and worm treated), a bag of premium puppy food and a FREE spot in our 5 week puppy school course at the SCAR shelter.
**Application Process**
When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption centre in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you.
