About George
Meet this cheeky pop, George. His cheekiness is charming, and his curiosity is adorable. He’s more placid since entering his twilight years, but he can still be very cheeky if the mood strikes.
George enjoys sitting in his armchair by the window and watching the world go by. He has a favourite blanket that he sleeps on and a toy dog that keeps him company on his favourite armchair. Not to forget, the little fish cat treats are the way to his heart.
George is the kind of cat that does everything on his own terms. Sadly, his human crossed the rainbow bridge last year. He enjoyed cuddling and sitting on her lap and taking some space too from time to time. He never liked when she told him what do to; it was his way or the highway!
George drinks water from the bathroom sink tap in the morning while you wash your face. He’s a very early riser and happily comes into your bedroom to tell you it’s time to wake up. Cheeky pop will come out if you ignore him, and he will start tapping items off your bedside table. If you’re not such an early riser like George, you can simply close the door, so he cannot disturb you anymore.
Since last year George has lived with two younger boys. He spends his days sleeping, and he’ll interact with the kiddos in the evening while they watch television. George is mainly an indoor cat; due to his long fur, he brings lots of grass and dirt inside otherwise. He gets clipped yearly to prevent it from matting. He’s litter trained (the king likes it clean, please).
George has always been the only pet in the household. Living with an elderly lady, he hasn’t had any experience with little kiddos. George is initially shy with people he doesn’t know. He didn’t get along with the small doggo that came to visit sometimes.
George would love to find a loving home to spend his retirement years. Are you looking for a cheeky companion like George?
Medical notes
George has been in excellent health all his life. He used to have a urine infection, which was successfully treated by feeding him (only!) Royal Canin Urinary S/O cat food. He has yearly vet checks, regular vaccination and worming, and he receives a monthly dose of revolution.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
