About Ariel
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS
INDOOR/OUTDOOR - LOADS OF POSITIVE SOCIALISATION REQUIRED - RECOMMENDED TO ATTEND TRAINING CLASSES
Ariel is one of eight pups born at the shelter. Mum, Cleo is now getting ready for adoption herself and is a volunteer walker favourite.
Pups explore their world with their mouths and this litter have little boundaries when it comes to biting and chewing! This behaviour can be modified and this will be a priority to give the mouthiness and jumping up appropriate outlets.
As these pups were born at the shelter, they will need committed owners who can dedicate loads of time to get these pups out and socialised positively to people, other animals and the world at large as they have missed out on the first weeks of their life being in a home environment.
Socialising is a serious and time-consuming undertaking we want you to be aware of as if these pups don't discover the world is a wonderful place, then as adult dogs a lack of early socialisation can lead to behaviour problems.
So sure; the puppies are CUTE but don't let love totally cloud your judgement. Go into the adoption with your eyes wide open - if you are up for the work, and invest the time in these little babies you and you're your family will be rewarded with a lovely forever companion
The puppy adoption fee is $555.00 which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
