About Roma
Hi! My name is Roma, and I am a one-year-old gorgeous red and tan kelpie girl. I love humans, there is nothing better than hanging out with them!
I am a typical kelpie and I have lots of energy and enjoy playing and learning. I know my basic commands, such as sit, stay, drop, mat and bed. I am house trained and I am working on my crate training, learning how to be settled and patient.
In my foster home I am living with a toddler, two other dogs and two cats. I get on well with everyone and I love playing with the humans in my foster home. I am not suitable to go to dog parks, I find some dogs can be rude and not respect my personal space, but I am quite happy to play with dogs I have established relationships with. My favourite thing to do is zoomies around the backyard with a toy or palm frond in my mouth!
I am still learning about the busy world and need some encouragement to try new things, but I am very brave when my humans are around. I need my new family to continue my training and teaching me about boundaries and the big world.
I would like an experienced owner who can continue my training and provide me with lots of opportunities, so I don't get bored, I am still a pup after all! I would be happy to live as an only dog if my owners are home most of the time. I also would be ok living with other dogs, but would prefer a slightly older, calm and confident dog friend who could teach me about the world.
If it sounds like I am the perfect fit for your home, please complete an application form. I can’t wait to hear from you!
Lots of love and licks
Roma xx

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
