About Chunky
Say hello to Chunky, a lovable, young Kelpie boy.
He’s clever, he’s charming, he’s fit, he’s handsome, and he’s looking for love… yours! And perhaps that of another doggy pal…. this winsome lad will be both your BFFs!
Chunky is very friendly, affectionate, adores cuddles and actively seeks them out, and has not met a dog or person he doesn’t want to befriend yet (even the ones that don’t immediately return his love).
He enjoys playing with toys, both on his own or with another dog. He’s very active, both physically and mentally, so will need appropriate stimulation to keep him out of mischief until he matures a bit more. However, after a good run and play he loves nothing more than a good snooze, snuggled up next to you or another dog (preferably both)!
Chunky is progressing well with life skills, including walking nicely on a loose lead and off lead, with good recall; uses a crate when required without fuss, and is house trained (uses a doggy door).
In typical Kelpie fashion he likes to herd dogs chasing balls, so will need someone who knows how to keep him engaged in the right way, which has not been hard to do since he really wants to please.
Chunky will keep you entertained with his goofy antics, fill your days with happiness, and your heart with an endless, loyal love.
Chunky is located in Vic...
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
