About Keiko
Keiko is now ready to find a loving home.
Keiko is a large breed Puppy with her date of birth being 5 January 2022. Her breed mix is Wolfhound x kelpie x American Staffy x Mastiff breed mix. Keiko is following in the Wolfhound paw prints as she will be a big girl when fully grown.
Keiko's foster carers report she is a lovely girl/friendly that eats super quick (best to eat out of slow feeding bowl)
Keiko would be best suited in a home with another dog, someone she can play with. She can be little cheeky and steal shoes/dig holes all in line with her puppy nature.
Keiko had some exposure to cats when she was a young pup, but had not had any recent exposure so slow introduction is recommended if you have a cat established in your home.
Keiko is not phased by most dogs. She isn't worried about dogs growling & snapping at her. She will just go and find something else to do.
Keiko has no real awareness on how big she really is or other animals personal space. She can be bossy 🤣 She will walk wherever she likes if someone is on a bed she will hop on as well, other dog leaves haha. With her size she can't just tuck in somewhere.
Keiko is greatly crate trained, she sits for food if you ask her to and waits until you say it's good to eat.
She is trained well with puppy pads, toilet trained good after eats/drinks straight outside and she does her business.
Keiko goes to her new home flea and worm treated, fully vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $800.
If you are interested in giving Keiko an active and loving inside/outside home and have another doggy companion looking for a younger large sister with no personal space awareness please contact us via email on Phoenixarh@outlook.com

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
