Hi there, I'm Gumboot!

I arrived at Greyhound Rescue as quite a nervous soul who wasn't used to interacting with people. With lots of love and patience, I started to come out of my shell and realise these hoomans aren't so bad after all - the Greysland ones give great scritches and they always seem to have plenty of treats for me!

Lucky for me, I've found my way to an amazing foster home. With the help of my wonderful foster pawrents and my two greyhound foster siblings, I'm learning the ropes of pet life and my confidence is blossoming. I'm even learning to enjoy walks, as long as they're at my own pace and with plenty of treatos of course!

I've also learned that I looove cuddles from my foster pawrents! I insist on pats and butt scritches many times a day now, and if I forget the ears you can be certain that I'll remind you!

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!
