About Cleo and Emme
*In foster care in Ashfield, Sydney*
Cleo and Emme are a gorgeous pair who love to snuggle together! Shy at first, they're looking for a wonderful new home with people who'll patiently work with them to build their trust.
Tabby girl Emme (named after Emmeline Pankhurst who led the UK suffragette movement) is the braver of the two (hence the name)! Curious and adventurous, she's always the first to investigate what's going on - especially if treats are involved :)
Grey-and-white Cleo is a little more cautious, and tends to watch Emme scope out if something is safe before she investigates. Once she's relaxed though, her true affectionate nature comes right to the fore - and seeing Cleo get cuddly with you reminds Emme that pats are actually pretty nice!
Neither of these lovely girls are lap cats, but they do enjoy cosying up on the bed and sleeping next to you at night.
Like all Maggie's pets, Cleo and Emme are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: ... will be quiet and calm, with a fairly steady routine in place and no unpredictable noises. Our awesome new purrson or couple will give us all the time we need to settle in and get comfortable - in a room of our own (at first, at least), so we can feel totally safe.
We do love to sit in windows and keep an eye on the neighbourhood, so a couple of those would be nice!
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: Low-to-moderate, really! We get the occasional zoomies, but mostly we're content to just hang out together and snooze the day away.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: We're looking for a child-free home, please.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We get along well with the other cats in our foster home! Cleo likes the resident kelpie cross too, while Emme just ignores her :)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
