Hi, I'm Meg, a border collie cross who is looking for some loving and loyal humans just like me to enjoy long walks on the beach and snuggles on the couch if you'll have me! I originally came from a farm life, but have been living life in the suburbs for a couple years now.
I love soft toys and chew toys and sit and stay for my dinner. I like to fetch the ball and I'm learning to bring it back and drop it when asked. I have reasonable recall and walk well on the lead. I don't like other dogs in my face and will let off a warning snap, but get along well with most dogs when I get to know them provided they are not too boisterous. I currently live with another female border collie who is a bit younger and we play well. I also live with a little human and I am good with her as well.
I am reasonably high energy and will dig and chew if I don't get enough attention or exercise, so I would fit well with people who will make time for me. I do have a bit of separation anxiety so would be best suited to a home where I have a another dog for company or a human that is home a lot and/or takes me with them when they go out. I'd love to be an inside dog but am learning to appreciate the outdoors with my foster mum and border collie pal.
All I really want is to be with my hoomans...could they be you?
Meg is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, heartworm checked and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
