About Khaza
Khaza is a gentle boy who is just looking for someone to love, he wants nothing more than to be a part of the family and after almost 2 months in the shelter come mid June he is really starting to give up hope. But not us at BARC, we are certain the right home is out there for this amazing 2 year old American Bulldog X.
Having mastered the basics of training, this well behaved, dog social boy is always keen to continue to learn and being so reward orientated and eager to please this wont be hard at all.
Khaza loves to go on walks and has improved his lead manners greatly, he enjoys socialising and exploring the natural world whilst affectionally meeting everyone on the waling track, dog and human alike.
Although social and suited to live in a home with another medium to large sized companion, Khaza would also lavish a home with all the affection needed so would be pen to the idea of being an only dog where he would be the center of everyone's attention. Probably not suited to a home with small animals or cats, Khaza would love some older kids to call his own, play dress ups with, kick the footy or run around the oval to burn some energy.
Such a clown when playing, he loves his toys, and if given the chance he will jump up onto your knee for a cuddle. Definitely need to make sure you have an extra spot on the couch for this extra special love bug xoxoxo
If you think this boy suits you, then please give BARC a call on 5441 2209 and book in for a meet and greet.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
