About Puss
We are not quite sure if sweet Puss was deliberately dumped or simply left behind by an owner leaving the area but it’s clear that this lovely young lady has at some stage been someone’s pet.
Puss has been visiting her foster carer for some time before we were comfortable and able to trap her, she has since had all of her vet work done and is now ready to find her permanent home.
Puss likes to sleep in the little cat bed in the bedroom or under the human bed or cuddled up with a big soft toy. She is very quiet. She enjoys a game and toys, and likes the ball to push and chase.
She likes rubbing her head on the end of the flat cat scratcher , sitting or lying on it and has learned to scratch on it too. Puss enjoys her outside time during some of the day and roams around outdoors and if the birds dive-bomb her, She races back indoors to safety.
Quite expectedly, she is quite nervous of strangers, but if people are peaceful and gentle, she likes to be friends and rub on their legs and let them stroke her and specially loves tummy rubs! She is just getting used to being cuddly on knees. Puss is still a little wary about being picked up but Is getting used to it and sometimes purrs now when her carer picks her up and snuggles her.
Puss is so sweet and certainly never spits or scratches or anything like that.
She is looking for a lot of love (and I know she will love you back) and a gentle environment with someone who will let me enjoy the days safely in and out and who will make sure at nights I am safely kept inside, because it really is a jungle out there!

Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email par.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
