About Biscuit
Are you looking for a new best friend? boy do we have the perfect boy for you!
Biscuit is a super affectionate little man who just wants all your love and attention.
He will follow you around the house wherever you go, yes and that will include the bathroom ..........
Biscuit is a Little Heeler x pretty sure Jack Russel terrier who weighs in at just 13.5 kilos
PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND JUNK FOLDERS FOR YOUR APPLICATION ONCE YOU HAVE SENT YOUR ENQUIRY
Biscuit comes with one of our adoption packs which includes
Harness, Lead and seat belt safety
He doesn't like being left alone and he will make that known by howling or giving a good cry but does get over it ...
Biscuit is a lap dog, he loves a good snuggle sesh, he can be a lot sometimes when you first sit down he just wants to give you kisses, but he does settle down quickly. We are still learning boundaries! Hes a very affectionate little fella that thinks your attention should all belong to him lol
He is a ball of energy, he's finally found a love for balls and toys. Also a love for anything you leave lying around the house that he can carry ??. In saying that he hasn't destroyed anything except a few cardboard boxes!
He is a very excitable boy, when you wake up, get home, move ??. He has so much life!
Biscuit currently lives with kids. He absolutely loves them but he can be jumpy and mouthy out of excitement.
Biscuit is toilet trained, he's had a couple of accidents inside but that's only because he hasn't had access to the yard or I've been too slow getting to the door. He will cry to let you know he needs to go.
Obedience.
Biscuit could definitely benefit from ongoing training, he is a good boy, it's just basic manners he needs to learn.
He can sit really excitedly!! Staying/Waiting for super delicious food is a challenge though.
Dog Socialization
Biscuit is dog friendly and once he gets to playing he does not want to stop!
He is very vocal with hello, I don't think he knows what he's doing when it comes down to it. But after the initial meeting he just wants to run around and play with his new friend ??
He would love a female playmate with as much energy as him!
Walk - Lead experience
I don't think Biscuit has had much experience on a lead, it seemed to be very new for him. He will need ongoing training and confidence building but he's come a long way,
Enrichment
Biscuit loves balls, soft toys, apparently clothing that gets left around the house!
I think he could benefit with some stimulating toys while being left alone with kongs with peanut butter and things to keep him out of trouble.
He doesn't need a marathon walk he's just happy to be out of the house.
He loves being around family, he's definitely a people dog.
Visitors
Biscuit loves everyone. I can't fault him with meeting new people. He is very people oriented and loves them of all sizes
Inside
Biscuit spends majority of his time inside, he can be cheeky and steal things that aren't his as I've mentioned but he's non destructive. But beware if you leave shoes around they instantly become his little treasures
Outside
A huge yard isn't necessary for Biscuit as most of his time is spent inside, he will only need it for toileting and sometimes a cheeky dig. And if another dog in residence he would love some space to play chase
Sleeping habits
Biscuit sleeps inside on the couch or his bed.
He generally sleeps from 10 - 7 sometimes you'll hear him get up during the night. He will have a whinge if he needs to go to the toilet.
Food
Biscuit loves his prime roll, he grazes on his dry food throughout the day.
He absolutely loves human food don't leave him unwatched around food because its to tempting for this cheeky boy ??
Traveling in a car
Biscuit loves car rides, he's a very good boy in the car. He will happily sit there with his head out the windows.
Ideal home
Ideal home for biscuit would be someone who works from home or is home more then not. As he really doesn't like being alone. If he had a female dog companion that would probably help his loneliness.
He would love a family lifestyle, as he wants to be around you all the time.
Biscuit is seeking the following home to be his very own
A home with a secure yard and fences with a play space
A home with a female dog of similar size who is loving and playful and very well socialized
A home with children would be great but they must be mature enough to play and well dog socialized
A home where he can be an inside boy with outside access for toileting
A home that are committed to training and ensuring he can be the best he can be as he matures
A home where he is not alone for long periods of the day
A home that are committed to daily walking
