Amelia 'The Diva'

Hi, my name is Amelia and I'm a beautiful 3yr old Ragdoll Diva! I like things my way, and my way only, so let me get that clear from the start! I don't think that's asking too much, but a bit of compromise on your behalf will ensure a wonderful relationship between us. I am set in my ways and that's, that! Plus I'm an indoors only creature...the thought of getting dirt in my paws, or on my coat..... eeeww, that's disgusting! Oh, and I must be the only furry friend in your home, I don't take to other cats or, my goodness, those terrible K9's!

Now that's over, let me tell you how to win my heart....or try to, anyway...First I love, love, love my cat tree, whether it be for perching up high with a window view observing the world go by, or relaxing and having a snooze....actually I'm quite partial to sleep, especially snuggling on the bed on a cold, rainy day.
When I am awake, I'm very independent, observant and alert. I like playing with my toys of choice - toy mice and chicken (Kmart had toy chicken baubles with bells inside).

I have been told that I have excellent hygiene, but I'm not a fan of the monthly worming tablets and Advantage flea treatment. I can't be too co-operative when it comes to these things, where's the 'Diva' in that?
I sometimes like gentle strokes on my head and chin, on my terms... only on my terms. I also won't be fussed upon, patted or brushed. Hugs and being picked up are two things that I will allow when I'm in the mood, otherwise be warned that you might want to steer clear. I'm also not a fan of thunderstorms or any other loud noises.

Please be aware that I'll scratch, bite (play) or both suddenly without warning, on furniture and humans, especially when I'm observing your cooking skills and there happens to be raw chicken around. I will therefore need to be supervised around young children and the elderly, whether they be in the kitchen, or not.
I'm also very observant when someone is in the bathroom....a girl can never get enough of mirror time and beauty tips!

Finally, the other way into my heart is via my stomach! I have a specific menu of Royal Canin (Instinctive, Indoor, Beauty wet and Oral, Indoor, Ragdoll dry). Not a fan of pate style like Ziwi Peak, though...
Feline Natural treats either lamb and beef. Greenies Dental Roast Chicken.
Fit n Flash chicken breast fillets MUST be broken up in to smaller pieces. Occasional, raw chicken breast finely sliced into small pieces...and of course, fresh water daily for my complexion!

I hope my new owner, can give me a much needed peaceful environment to be in and will be able to hopefully agree on sending photos or video updates to my surrendering owners.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
