Meet Jack,

Jack is a very energetic boy who loves to get out with his family for runs, long walks, hikes and swimming. Jack walks very well on a leash and would excel at agility or any dog sport as he is very intelligent and always tries his absolute hardest to please. Jack thrives off training and loves having something to do, so will need a home that also includes him in there daily lives. Due to his energy levels Jack is ideally suited to a home with older kids. Although Jack is very active it is important to mention that once he has been out for a walk or an outing Jack is completely fine to chill with his family around the house for the rest of the day and is also fine at home while his foster carer works for 8 hours 4 days a wk. Jack is very good inside and even is allowed to go inside via a dog hatch while his carer is at work all day so he will need to be allowed in when his family are home. A fenced yard is also a must for this boy.
Jack has gotten along very well with 9 other dogs he has lived with so far but is not great with every dog and does better with a slow introduction to them over a few minutes. Idealy a calm, sociable dog or any puppy would be a great match for Jack and he would love the company while his family are out. Alternatively Jack could be an only dog.
Whilst in care Jack has been attending weekly obedience classes and has now passed obedience 1 & 2 and is set to start obedience 3 soon.
