About Peanut ~ 8mo Bull Arab X(On Trial 28/6/22)
Don’t let a nut allergy stop you from considering to adopt Peanut (unless you are allergic to unconditional love or puppy eyes)
Peanut is an 8month old Bull Arab X, so will grow to be a large dog. Being a young pup he has lots to learn but very eager to please. Peanut is responding well to simple commands (sit, stay, come, down, & roll over) peanut is food driven and will do all commands for some kangaroo jerky.
Before coming into care Peanut lived with 2 siblings from his litter and an older Staffy. Peanut was housed in a courtyard and has developed a food aggression due to competition. Peanut hasn’t shown his food dominance to his foster human siblings (6yrs & 3yrs). Peanut is being trained to sit and wait before he can eat his meals while in care.
Peanut is currently living with a small bunny & a budgie. Peanut is showing a lot of intrigue with the small pocket pets but would be better suited without. Any potential adoptions with need meet and greets with fur and human siblings.
Peanut has enjoyed running on the grass at his foster home. He has shown no interest in gardening and enjoys being close to the house and high on his deck surveying his land.
Peanut enjoys a game of fetch but sometimes forgets to return the toy. When he does remember he has no trouble dropping toy & waiting patiently for toy to be thrown again.
Though Peanut loves a game he is happiest just existing with his humans any never too far from their side.
Peanut would make a great guard dog with a strong bark as long as they don’t find out he’s a gentle giant/sook.
Peanuts was sleeping inside at his original home but has been sleeping outside on a raised bed. He’s content as long as he is welcomed inside and has quickly understood not to jump on his foster carers lounge.
Peanuts ideal home will have an open door policy while his family are home.
Peanut would love to be adopted by an inclusive & active family. Where he can enjoy harnessed walks or beach visits during the day & lounging relaxed snuggles at night.
Peanut is in foster care in Tarro, NSW. He is available for adoption interstate, subject to approval. Peanut's adoption fee is $500 which includes all up to date vet work. He is vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
You can contact Peanut's foster carer Casey on their email casey.drn1@gmail.com if you have any questions before submitting an adoption application.
