Just like my namesake, I am a true rockstar! I came into care just the other day and I already own the joint.
If you are looking for somebody to love, I know its me! And I know you are the love of my life.
If you are feeling a bit under pressure as you work from home, well, I have one vision! It’s me in your arms singing Bohemian Rhapsody in between Zoom calls- don’t stop me now! You know we got this crazy little thing called love going on.
Just like Mr. Mercury, I’m a confident dude. I happily seek out affection from my humans, demanding centre stage at all times.
Kids are cool and I’m learning to give a killer head boop.
I’ve had all my vet work done so I’m looking for a kind of magic forever home. I want it all! The love, the fame, the glory!
If you come and meet me, I may sign an autograph before we head home.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
