Mabel & Hunter

Hunter is mischievous and adventurous. He will run to greet his carer when They get home or in the morning when They come into the loungeroom and is all purrs when petted. Hunter loves to play and everything is a potential toy; shoelaces when you try to take your shoes off, pens, plastic bags and especially the toilet paper hanging from the roll. Hunter loves to chase the little soft balls and the teaser on the end of the cat toy stick (he is very quick though and will run away with it once he catches it). Hunter is the first one to go up to new things or people but is scared of loud noises. When he gets tired he loves finding a warm lap to sleep on and is very affectionate.

Maybel is just as playful as Hunter but not as brave and will hang back until Hunter has checked things out first. Maybel is a little bit quirky and will happily play by herself or with Hunter or with her carer. She loves her food and will eat hers, Hunter's and the carers cats food if given the chance. She is happy to find a hidden spot to sleep in and is just as happy to sleep next to me on the couch. Maybel is not a lap cat but will sleep on the top of the couch behind the carers head and lean on me. Maybel is fascinated with looking into my eyes and then tries to touch my eyeballs! She does not like to be left on her own and will cry if she can't find Hunter (usually because he escaped into my room when she wasn't looking).
