About Aspen
Please let us introduce you to this little gorgeous girl
Aspen is a nearly 12 week old Wolfhound x who is also deaf.
Aspen is an beautiful little girl who loves her humans, her fellow fur siblings and life in general.
Aspen has come into care due to being deaf
Aspen will be looking for a home where she can be very much part of a family, continuing to learn and work with her with her sign language and normal training.
Aspen is a lovely girl who’s idea of a good day is to hang with her humans and her fur sibling, have a good play, work on her training and then have a good nap.
Aspen is fine around young children however being deaf she is easily distracted so please bare this in mind if applying as she will need to continue her training and learning nonverbal instructions.
Aspen has been fine around a cat and is great with other dogs.
We are looking for a home for Aspen with an older big breed dog that will take her under their wing, help to show her the ropes of the home and basically be able to be her big brother / sister to guide and play with him.
Aspen is a water baby and hasn't meet a puddle of water she does not love playing in. Aspen would defintely be a beach baby.
Aspen is currently spending her days having access to inside and outside the home – toilet training is going well but will be something that will need to be continued with.
Aspen is currently being crated trained for night time – she sometimes will redesign the bedding in her crate with a dramatic flop down and roll over (once or twice) other nights she will be happily go into her crate and fall asleep straight away a being a pup can be hard work and sleep is a must.
Aspen is a happy, friendly, sociable girl, who does love to make friends with other dogs but being deaf cannot tell if she is annoying another dog by giving them kisses, lying on them or wrestling
If you are a family who will love me for my entire life and consider me as an important and much-loved family member. Will continue training me and socialising me so I can reach my full potential, please send in an application so we may get to meet.
** Please note applications will close Monday 23rd May 2022 at 5.30pm

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
