Hades

Hi everybody, my name is Hades and I am 3 years old.

Don’t be misled by my name, I am a calm, loving, big-hearted boy.
I love my foster family and adore being with them. My foster Mum says I am cool.

I have never really had a family I can call my own so I am excited that someone out there might decide they can love me and bring me into their family. I am a little shy when I first meet people but once I know your smell, I am your best buddy.

I haven’t met many other dogs. I do get a little excited when I am having my afternoon walk and I see another dog, however I don’t feel any aggression. I am fine when I see people coming towards me, I calmly keep walking.

In my foster home I have lived with a pet owl and laying hens. The don’t phase me at all in fact I mostly ignore them, and they ignore me. I have never met a cat.

I am a big boy and I don’t mind children once I get to them. A home with children over the age of ten would be fine. I may be a little shy at first.

I do love my food and I also like doggy food treats. I am smart and understand commands like sit, stay and drop. I am toilet trained and have not had any inside accidents. I do get sad for a brief time when I am left alone however after about 10 minutes, I lie down and go to sleep. I don’t resource guard people or toys, my foster Mum says I am very kind.

I love car rides and going for walks. My foster family walk me for an hour each day and they say I walk perfectly on a halti. I hardly ever bark, I really am a good boy.

I could get over a fence under 6ft if I wanted so 6ft fencing or higher would be great. This would enable me to stay safe and secure.

My current carers live on the Darling Downs so if you would like to meet me, midway to Brisbane would be around the Gatton area. I hope you can make that trip; I would really love to be a member of your family.
