About Hagrid
Hagrid is a mischievous boy who loves exploring the house (including the bench!). When he's not chasing Ron, Hermione or Harry around the house, he's with his foster carer having a cuddle. He's very sooky with a loud purr and loves being picked up as well. He's also very playful and loves toys - so much so that he growls at his siblings when he's got one of his favourites! He would be a great addition to any family situation.
Hagrid has been:
- Tried with cats and is fine with them
- Untried with dogs
- Untried with children (however we believe he would get along with both children and dogs given the right introductions)
***To be kept strictly indoors or with access to a secure cat enclosure only***
Hagrid's adoption fee of $200 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st Vaccination
- Microchipping
- Flea and worming treatments up to date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of his current wet and dry food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get him started.
Hagrid is available to meet ahead of his desexing appointment on the 17th of May at his foster carer's home at Morphett Vale.
If you're interested in meeting him, please fill out the following adoption form (https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A) and his foster carer will be in touch with you to arrange a time.
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
