Toastie (Located in Rowville)

They call me Mr Toastie, you can tell I'm a gentleman because of my distinguishing moustache, it sits perfectly on my face and is one thing I'm proud of.  The only time I am not a gentleman is if you bring out the cat toys....I then turn into the most playful little boy you will ever meet.  I can quite adamantly say that if you play with me, it will be you who puts the toy down first because I love to play, jump, hunt and catch anything you put in front of me, I always like to win.

I will always greet you with a meow and I will come to the door to greet you, I will smoosh up to your leg and require a pat. I love to head butt you for a pat, I love affection on my terms, Im not a fan of being picked up but I won't scratch you if you go slowly.  Sometimes if you aren't quick enough, I will try to help you feed me and put my head in the bowl before you have even given it to me, because I absolutely love food.

I may be a little shy when I first meet you but I'm very quick to come and meet you, especially if you have a snack for me.  I get along very well and walk around the 3 dogs which live with me and I'm not scared at all by them, in fact I like to try and head butt them as well for a pat.  I'm a very curious little man who loves to sit high in the cattery to watch the world go by.  

I would be more comfortable with a family who can give me space when I need it, but also play with me alot to stimulate me, I would be alright with young children who knows how to respect my space and allow me to be the cat I know I can be as I can be a little nervous at first. I know I am a good kitty because my foster meowmy always tells me I'm a good boy, will you be my forever family?

Toastie has comes leaps and bounds with his confidence since coming into care after a scary beginning to his life, he soon burst out of his shell and was the first to initiate contact.  His sweet meow when he knows hes about to get fed followed closely by his motor purr will delight anyone who meets him, he's a sweet boy who loves to play, and a curious little man who loves attention.  He will be a wonderful addition to your family and would be very happy either being on his own or adopted with a friend.
