On Hold
Lucy | Female | Pointer X | 1 year old approx
Dog friendly: Yes but no small dogs
Cat friendly: Untested
Child friendly: Untested
House Trained: Yes
Crate trained: No
Energy: Medium
Size: Medium (21.5kg)
Lucy was terrified of everything when she first came to us. Within a week she made best friends with her foster carer's dog and really came out of her shell showing her beautiful sweet and loving nature.
She has obviously had a tough life and needs a loving home with praise based training and lots of cuddles. She is very well behaved and very sweet natured.
She is toilet trained and walks very well on the lead. She didn't know any commands when she first came to us but is now very obedient when called and is obviously very intelligent and easy to train.
She is happy to relax for long periods of time but also has sudden bursts of energy and would be happy with an active lifestyle. She gets along well with dogs of a similar size, but has been snappy/dominant with small dogs.
Lucy is $300 to adopt, desexed, microchip, C5 vaccinated, heart worm checked and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
Please email adopt@nqar.org.au if you would like to meet one of our pets or request an adoption application.
