About Russell
Looking for his perfect match, we know he’s not going to have any issues finding loads of applications of interest.
Russell is a sweet natured 5 month old pug mix boy who was unclaimed from a local pound. He came into care with the need for double cherry eye surgery and was successful with this and has recovered well and handled the surgery with ease.
This special little fella has a sweet playful and active nature so he isn’t searching for a lounge lizard home.
His new home will preferably have experience with his or similar breeds and can cater to a more inside only home especially during the hotter months.
Russell has shown to be excellent and playful with all sizes of dogs so would do best in a home with another playful social and kind natured dog.
He has even shown to be good with the foster carers cat.
He is a typical family dog and adores the attention of his humans and would do great in a family household. Being a young pup he can sometimes forget his manners so may jump up or mouth still with his young learning age. So a home with dog confident kids who are stable on their feet and over the age of 5 years is best suited.
His new home will need fencing 5ft and above but most importantly free from gaps and holes. But he may suit rural fencing for the right set up and home.
He must sleep inside at night this is non negotiable. And his new home must be able to provide a good quality diet and daily exercise.
Russell is available for adoption in the NSW or ACT areas only. He is located in the lower hunter valley and his adoption fee is $650. He is ready to meet his new family after next weekend (21st May) as he is still recovering from double cherry eye surgery and desexing
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
