Noodles ~ 1yr Old Border Collie X(On Trial 2/7/22)

If you truly, truly want to rescue a dog, then Noodles may just be the dog for you. Noodles
is a sweet, medium, short-haired Border Collie / Kelpie X who is approximately 1 years old.
Noodles is looking for love. He has not had a very happy start to life and is very timid
around humans. He has come from a place where he has been surrounded by other dogs
but has not been shown how to be a pet.

He will need a family with lots of time and patience to show him that humans can be
trusted. You can see that he is trying to trust his foster family as he smiles and wags his
tail, but when you get too close, he retreats to the safety of his kennel.
He builds a little more trust every day.

He loves all food and treats, especially raw chicken legs and doggy sausage, but he’s
happy with anything and gets very excited when he sees someone coming with food. This
will be extremely valuable in assisting with his training and bonding to his new family.
At this stage he does not know how to walk on a lead so would need training in this area.
He has been practicing wearing his harness but still isn’t sure what this walking business is
all about.

He loves playing with his foster brother the Border Collie so a family with another playful
dog and a good-sized yard is essential. A doggy sibling would be extremely beneficial to
help him learn what being a dog is all about. Noodles prefers the company of another dog
and spending time with his humans.

He will need a warm and secure kennel to feel safe, however once he has bonded with his
forever family, would love to be welcomed inside.
Noodles loves to play with lots of different doggy toys to keep his mind active and is no
problem with kids or other pets.

He is a sweet, loveable boy who is ready to love a family of his own. He has been an
absolute pleasure to foster and is a very low-maintenance dog. Once you have his trust,
he will make a wonderful, loving companion.

Noodles is located in Mayfield NSW (suburb of Newcastle NSW). Noodles’ adoption fee is
$500 and this includes desexing, vaccinations, microchipping as well as flea/tick and worm
treatments.
