About Truffle

Truffle is a snuggly tuxedoed girl with an inquisitive nature, an incredibly expressive face and the longest whiskers a kitten could hope for!
A real 'people cat', she loves to be around her humans and enjoys leisurely cuddles on the couch. You'll often find her hot on your heels as you move from room to room, waiting patiently for you to settle so she can claim a warm lap :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Truffle is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have a bit of room for me to explore, as I love getting into nooks and crannies, jumping into shoe boxes and exploring cupboards that should have been closed! I've grown up with lots of active foster siblings who love to play, so in a purrfect world my new home will also have a nice friendly cat I can bond with!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Pretty high! Romping around the house, wrestling with my brother Enoki and chasing feathers and toy mice are some of my favourite things. But I also adore a good cuddle with my humans, especially first thing in the morning :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I have definite ideas on how I like to be petted and loud noises alarm me, so I'd be best suited to a family home with older children only.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Cats are wonderful fun! Though I haven't met any dogs at this stage, I'm very easygoing and affectionate so with the right kind of introduction I can definitely see myself becoming BFFs with your resident pup!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
