About Mocha
Poor little Mocha was found out in the bush - likely dumped. Nobody could understand why as he is the most beautiful, loving young cat. He was suffering some health issues and we had tests undertaken. Mocha has now been diagnosed with diabetes which explains his health issues which are now getting under control. Diabetes can definitely be managed in cats and Mocha can still have a wonderful full life. It does mean an extra commitment from his new owner - insulin administered every 12 hours - which Mocha is totally fine with.
Mocha is the sweetest boy, so smoochy and affectionate. He is in foster care with children and a dog so would do well with any situation. You do not need to be experienced in dealing with a diabetic cat as our vets can guide you through everything that will be required.
Mocha deserves a 2nd chance home, someone who will understand and deal with his diabetes - he did not deserve to be dumped in the bush. Mocha is eating well and putting on weight after being found so underweight. He uses his litter tray and is a lovely house cat who will keep you entertained and give you lots of love and company.
Mocha's adoption fee includes microchipping, vaccination and desexing.
All ARCH cats and kittens must be indoor only in their new homes.
Medical notes
Diabetes is a fairly easy condition to manage but it does take some commitment. Although Mocha has only recently been diagnosed he is already used to have his 12 hourly insulin needle. It certainly does help that he is such a lovely sweet boy. The diabetes is something that will need to be managed and will require some vet visits. There is of course a chance that he he can go into remission and as he is so young this is something we can hope for.
