Hey! My name is Muk but my foster mum calls me heaps of names like "cuddle bug", "teddy bear", "best boy" and "boofhead"! I guess it's because I am cuddly, soft and like a little bear.
I have a short tail that wags a million miles an hour when I see my foster family or any of the human friends I meet. I love people and getting pats. Once I warm up to you I love showing you my belly and being as close to you as possible. I like other dogs but I'm not very playful with them.
I'm a pretty good guard dog and have a loud, scary bark. Im pretty happy outside by myself all day and will only bark if I think someone is too close to the house. As I am older I mostly like to relax when at home and will chill out by your side at cafes or wherever you take me.
I'm not very keen on fetch or other games but I love car rides, walkies and puzzles with treats in them. I have been going on a few walks recently and will gladly walk by your side, I don't pull and my foster mum thinks I'm the best on the lead. Sometimes when I get excited or the pace picks up i like to prance (I'm pretty light on my feet). I'm happy having one walk a day and getting out to sniff lots of new things and see different places. When I'm at home I'm pretty easy going and I will lay close to you, hoping for the occasional pat or treat.
My foster mum thinks I'm super smart and I love learning new tricks for treats. I would like to be with someone who tests my brain and gives me further training and good boundaries.
I'm looking for a home where I can be close to my new family and go on lots of new adventures. I love cuddling and I'm pretty good with children of all ages, there's not much that makes me grumpy.
Looking forward to meeting my forever family soon.
Muk is $200 to adopt, desexed, microchip, C5 vaccinated, heart worm checked and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
