About Elsa
Elsa is one of our Stars of the Week! From the 23rd until the 30th of May, her adoption fee has been reduced to $120
Elsa is a friendly girl who will run up to greet you at the door and meow for you to come back when you leave. She wants to be friends with everyone, be they the human or four-legged kind. She doesn't mind being carried around by her foster carer's 7-year-old granddaughter and her foster carer says she's been a delight to care for. She's a playful girl too and will make a great companion for any household.
Elsa has been:
- Tried with children and loves them
- Untried with other cats whilst in care but lived with other cats previously.
- Introduced to dogs and is fine with them
***To be kept indoors or with access to a secure enclosure only***
Elsa is approximately 6 months old and her adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st Vaccination
- Microchip
- Flea and worming treatments up to date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of her current wet and dry food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get her started.
Elsa is available to meet at her foster carer's home at Coromandel Valley.
If you'd like to meet her, please fill out the following application form (https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A) and her foster carer will be in touch with you to arrange a time.
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
