About Topsy
Topsy, a sweet, petite, tri-colour, 3yr old Border Collie cross female, has done a very good job caring for her pups (the 'Nut Pups') and is now ready to find her forever home.
She is a friendly, gentle girl who loves a pat and a belly scratch. She can be a bit shy at first, but soon warms to everyone she meets. Topsy enjoys a daily stroll and likes spending some of her day down in the garden, keeping a watch on the wildlife. She gets on well with the resident dog in her foster home.
Topsy’s basic training is underway and she is responding well to learning new things, like walking on a lead and coming when called. She is toilet trained and sleeps quietly all night on her bed. She is also getting used to travelling in the car. She would benefit from someone willing to invest time in growing her confidence and continuing to work on her training and socialisation.
Her perfect family will include her in everything they do. She would enjoy having a doggy playmate, but would also be happy to be the only dog as long as she could be with her people as much as possible. She would make a great work from home dog, as she likes lying next to you when you are working.
If Topsy sounds like she would be a good fit for your family please complete an application form.
**Topsy is located on NSW....
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
