About Bear
Bear or baby bear is the sweetest little kit that you could find. He loves to play all day, is very confident when meeting new friends and enjoys bossing our dogs. At the start, Bear was worried about new experiences and he took a bit of time to get used to them. He has an unknown life before we took him and his four siblings into care. Bear was dehydrated, emaciated (skinny), covered in fleas and dealing with worms. But he was as cute as a button and wanting to thrive. Bear has always loved humans and thrives on hanging out with them, being the centre of attention.
Bear likes to flop on your lap at the end of a hard day of playing, he purrs automatically when you pick him up or cuddle him. He knows the rumours about black cats and wonders why he has yet to be adopted yet. But if you meet him you may be the lucky person to adopt him. He had very distinct tabby markings under his coat as a baby, he stills has them and it is a beautiful pattern.
Bear will not be a wall flower, he wants to shine and be a part of any family. He has spent a bit of time with teenagers and many different adults without any concerns. Bear is reaching his fun teenager years, where he is ready to find adventure in his new home. Recently he started to become interested in the outdoors, but in our house you need to explore using a cat run and many enclosures. Once he works out how to get outside I am sure he will be off for an adventure.
Every morning, actually anytime we have food, he wants to share! His favourite is vegemite on toast and he takes hostage all shiny lolly wrappers. Bear makes little squeaks and trills when he is having fun, he is very well toilet trained and enjoys resting with his siblings. He was be ok with another playful younger cat, however it could take time and a slow introduction.
Bear will be your shadow if he is an only kit, he will sleep near your desk, on your laptop, grab your pens as you write and help you make some very interesting emails. He would get lonely, so if he is an only kit he needs someone to be around.
Medical notes
Bear will need to receive his third vaccination at the cost and time of his new owners, this is a great way to introduce him to your vet.
Adoption details
Our adoption process requires all potential adopters to read the Adoption Agreement and complete an Adoption Application for the kitten or kittens they are interested in. Once applications are received we contact all potential adopters to arrange a meet and greet with the kittens. If the potential adopter and kitten(s) are suitable for each we arrange an adoption day.
