About Badger - Black and White
Badger is a darling kitten, who appears for love and cuddles at random times throughout the day. Check her out, those whiskers are impressive! She loves hanging out with her siblings and starts to purr once you pat her. Badger would make an excellent companion with Bear (her brother). She does funny little hops and fluffs up, twisting around and being silly when she is really happy. I am starting to think she is half cat, half rabbit.
Badger was emaciated and had a difficult start to life, she is not thriving. She loves to eat her wet food and enjoys finding you to see if you will share your food with her. Badger is keen to run around and enjoy life, she will need a lot of interaction with her owner if she goes as a single kitten. She seeks out warm spots to sleep in, she loves cuddling with her siblings and sticks her legs in the air as she sleeps. Badger prefers two litter trays at least; she is super clean and appreciates it when the litter is changed often.
Badger’s current home life has the following requirements:
- Adults only, teenagers visiting and cuddling the kittens.
- Quiet house in western Victoria.
- Dogs and adult cats, she has been worried by them at the start and seems ok with them now. Her preference is that the dogs remain asleep and not moving much. She hides when they become excited.
- She and her siblings spend nighttime in their safe room away from the other household members.
- Short periods of time with no adult around, as she is fed 4 times a day. This can be changed to three times.
- She freely roams sections of the house, has not shown much interest in going outside or in the cat runs.
- She likes to sleep on a lap when we have a fluffy blanket on our legs.
- Regular handling and health checks.
- Occasional car rides in her carrier which she does not enjoy.
- Litter is changed at each feeding time.
Medical notes
Badger will need to receive her third vaccination at the cost and time of her new owners, this is a great way to introduce her to your vet.
Adoption details
Our adoption process requires all potential adopters to read the Adoption Agreement and complete an Adoption Application for the kitten or kittens they are interested in. Once applications are received we contact all potential adopters to arrange a meet and greet with the kittens. If the potential adopter and kitten(s) are suitable for each we arrange an adoption day.
