About Heimdall
This gorgeous boy has begun the search for his forever family, and can’t wait to be someone’s best friend!
In Norse mythology, Heimdall (from Old Norse Heimdallr, is a God who keeps watching for invaders and the onset of Ragnarök from his dwelling Himinbjörg, where the burning rainbow bridge Bifröst meets the sky. He is attested as possessing foreknowledge and keen senses, particularly eyesight and hearing.
And we think that this fits this handsome Tabby man to a Tee!
A wonderfully mature mini tiget, Heimdall is searching for a family where he can settle in and spend the winter days relaxing on a comfy couch, bed, and on a sunny verandah during the day!
Heim gets along well with other friendly cats and would adjust well to a cat-friendly pooch in his new home.
Heimdall will head off to his new family desexed, microchipped, and up to date with his annual vaccination, flea, tick, and worming treatments.
Medical notes
Heimdall has a Grade 1 Heart Murmur, and our recommendations are for Heimdall to have periodic check-ins with a veterinary team to continue to assess this to ensure that there is no progression, or worsening of the murmur.
A heart murmur is caused by turbulent blood flow within the heart or the large vessels exiting from the heart. This results in an abnormal noise that can be heard by a veterinarian when listening with a stethoscope.
