Hello 👋 my name is Katie!
I am an 8-month-old Jack Russel with lots of energy!
I’m looking for an active owner who will take me on lots of adventures and walks with them, a quiet home where I will be able to kick back and relax at the end of the day, and a nice yard with secure fencing.
I was lucky enough in my last home to rarely ever be left on my own so I really don’t like it when I am! I hope my new owner will be able to keep me company a lot of the time, and will also be willing to do lots of training with me to help me cope when I have some alone time.
I would love to work with a trainer and do lots of activities to really get my brain working, and I also have a few of my favourite toys for us to play with!
Sometimes I can’t help being mouthy when I get excited, so I won’t be able to contain myself around children, and it’s for the best if I don’t live with any cats or small animals.
When I went for my checkup at the vets, the nice man said that I have something called 'luxating patellas' and since I'm still a young girl, I will need surgery on both of my knees down the track. He also said that my new owner will need to be prepared to keep me quiet while I recover, and help me work back up to being the bouncy and athletic girl that I am now.
