About Ice
FOSTER CARER FOR SPECIAL NEEDS HUSKY
We have a very special husky who needs some help from a very special human or household, and we’re wondering if this might be you.
Ice has had a very rough start to life, but we’ve got his back, as he’s MORE than earned it. He’s a very deserving boy who is doing his very best to be an awesome husky and we know he’s got it in him with the right support.
Since entering foster care with us, he’s rapidly evolved into a chap who happily puts on his collar, loves neck scratches & will lay back & enjoy the attention. Ice is a very friendly dog, wonderful to train, spend time & relax with, this gorgeous boy adores company & will absolutely shine with love & care.
Any foster carer or adopter will be blessed by his friendly personality & his playfulness.
Ice has made leaps & bounds with his trust for humans & with love & care Ice will be the perfectly trainable companion for anyone willing to give him a chance.
Ice needs someone committed to working with him on some specific training areas, which we’ll discuss in detail with anyone who enquires, and he needs someone committed to his eye drops and medication (he has an auto-immune condition which has affected his eyes).
Right now, we need someone special to step up to the plate and give him a safe, calm environment and continue his learning and to help him to be the best husky he can be.
A bit more about Ice! Loves being trained with treats, is good on lead, knows sit, drop, shake and wait and LOVES learning new tricks – in fact his foster people think he could learn any trick you could throw at him. He’s not fond of storms and needs cuddles in bad weather, is chatty and can say “I love you”, loves fetch, toys, heaps of walks, and adores hanging out with his people. He loves car rides and is extremely obedient and respectful of commands.
Ice needs to be an only dog and in a no-kid household.
