About Lizzy
Lizzy is an excitable young pup who enjoys playing, running around and exploring. She also loves a cuddle and is more than happy to relax on the couch with you
Lizzy would be happy with another dog to play with or would be happy with someone who’s around to play with her.
She seems to be an eager learner, having already picked up ‘shake’ from her foster sister. She knows sit, and is very good at going to the bathroom when she is let her out but will still need reminders.
She is crate trained for night sleeps and will sleep all night. She is good with other dogs, wants to play with cats, and loves all people. All around, Lizzy is a beautiful lovely dog who loves to play and have fun.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a large secure yard
• Lizzy will not be alone for more than 4hrs
• You will allow Lizzy to be part of the family and allow her access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol her in obedience training.
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please include the name of the obedience school you will be taking her to.
PLEAS NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
