Howdy! My name is Leia and I am officially the Queen of Snuggles! I love love LOVE humans; I even prefer their affection to treats most of the time! I follow my foster Mummy around like a shadow, but I've learned to be very patient and well-behaved when she goes out. I'm always there to greet her at the door when she returns, I'm just so excited for snuggle time!

While I love all people, big and small, I don't like other dogs (sorry). I actually don't need much walking, just access to grass for me to sniff around and use for toilet stops. In fact, I would be happiest in a home with a backyard so I can go out for the toilet and not have the stress of maybe seeing other dogs.

Mummy lets me sleep on her bed, but I am also happy relaxing on my doggie bed and I spend lots of the day snoozing on it while Mum works. If I'm too excited on the bed or the couch, I always listen when I'm told to get down; especially if I get a little reward.

No one understands why I haven't been adopted yet! I would make the perfect companion for a single person, the best proxy baby for a couple, or an amazing member of a family with big kids who don't mind the odd jump-hug. I've been in foster care for a long time and all I want for Christmas now is YOU!!!
