About Ivy “Ivy Muriel”
*not cat tolerant*
"Ivy Muriel" born 17/8/15
Ivy is a Queen! She is a sweet girl who loves her family. She sleeps a lot but is always excited to go for a walk. She's very smart and can be stubborn. She enjoys sleeping on the beds even though she's not supposed to, and does Zoomies to show off!
Ivy loves Weetbix, and eggs and she does adore chocolate if it's left unattended! When she's having "dog dreams" it's best to chat to her to wake her.
Ivy loves being rubbed behind the ears and walks well on a lead held firmly at your heel. She has a muzzle exemption however cats and small animals may be too tempting for her! She loves all the attention, but may be ok with a gentle male greyhound as a buddy.
Ivy would be best suited to someone who will dote on her. She always cries with happiness when her family comes home, and she very rarely barks. Ivy is still quite strong so may be a bit too much for small children. She's a sprinter so if the door's left open she thinks she's back on the track!
Part time workers would be best as although she's house trained she prefers to be more inside than out. She does try and get your attention or stands at the door when she needs to go out. She does enjoy a short daily walk. With a bit more attention and devoted training she will be the perfect companion.
Owners moving and sadly unable to take Ivy with them, but would still hope for the opportunity to visit her.

Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
